The Slashthree collective selects Paradigm Shift as the theme for its landmark fifteenth exhibition. The release complements the massive changes the collective underwent along with it, starting with a new version of our website. Version four of slashthree.com was not only about creating an incredible user experience, but also about refining the presence of the collective within the online art community. The collective was proud to release Paradigm Shift at such a significant time, since the exhibition was the largest Slashthree had ever released in terms of both quality and quantity. Artists expressed Paradigm Shifts in many conventional and unconventional ways, while managing to maintain a high level of visual appeal throughout. For this monumental release, the collective unanimously chose to highlight the astounding efforts of the artistic prodigy from Luxembourg, Roy Bourkel. Roy submitted an unprecedented eight illustrations, as well as two collaborations; each one retaining an incredible level of dedication to quality and thematic relevance, despite their quantity and the fact that he was forced to paint a third of his submissions with an optical mouse. RoyÂ’s impressive dedication to the collective earned him the title of featured artist for this release, as well as a position among SlashthreeÂ’s senior members.
