SlashthreeÂ’s seventh exhibition, entitled Afterlife, documents a look into the unknown. This release was important as it came right after the release of a successful website redesign, placing pressure on the artistic team to deliver an exhibition that lived up to our higher standards. They did not disappoint; the exhibition had just the right balance of conceptual and executional submissions, demonstrating a level of visual quality that far surpassed Odyssey. Afterlife was also a landmark release due to the entrance of Russian motion artist Vladimir Tomin, who eventually served as a Creative Director to the collective. Tomin worked on an unprecedented five submissions, including SlashthreeÂ’s first ever motion submission (Tree of Death), delivering them all in only two weeks. As a result, he was chosen to be this exhibitionÂ’s featured artist.
